The International Association of Maritime Institutions (IAMI) is a global network of maritime training and education providers, who deliver training across the maritime sector in Merchant Navy, Superyachts, Towing, Restricted Waters/Tonnage, and Fishing Industries.
IAMI are committed to the education and welfare of seafarers, and host regular key sub-group meetings that represent the various sub-sectors to enhance and expand their training portfolios, while supporting those who deliver maritime education. IAMI also provides networking conferences to enable our members to engage and collaborate.
The International Association of Maritime Institutions (IAMI) represents international Maritime Educators and Providers, while working with regulators and organizations, as well as being a founding member of the Superyacht Alliance for Professional Standards, promoting collaboration to improving professionalism within the industry by establishing industry wide standards, enhancing crew welfare and professional development, and promoting positive business practices and ethics.
IAMI also provides assessment services to our members for Merchant Navy, Fishing, Superyacht and Apprenticeships, as well as the Accreditation & Assessment Services for the IAMI Guidelines for Excellence in Superyacht Training (GUEST) Program for non-mandatory / industry led training across all departments.
