Fédération Nationale des Associations d'Accueil des Marins (FNAAM)

La FNAAM est une association régie par la loi du 1er juillet 1901 sans but lucratif, elle n’a aucune affiliation religieuse, politique ou syndicale.

Le but de la Fédération est de regrouper, sans porter atteinte à leur autonomie, les différentes associations d’accueil de marins disséminées sur le littoral, pour assurer:

• Une meilleure information réciproque entre toutes les associations de manière à échanger les initiatives prises, les obstacles rencontrés, les partenaires découverts, les solutions trouvées face aux multiples problèmes posés par l’accueil du marin.
• Une coordination la plus efficace possible des actions entreprises face aux problèmes tels que ceux posés par les équipages abandonnés à bord des navires saisis pour là aussi profiter de l’expérience acquise par les uns et les autres.
• La représentation et la défense des associations auprès des autorités ayant un pouvoir de décision concernant les problèmes rencontrés.
• Le développement d’une coopération internationale avec les associations partageant les mêmes buts.

The FNAAM is a non-profit association governed by the law of July 1, 1901, it has no religious, political or union affiliation.

The purpose of the Federation is to bring together, without undermining their autonomy, the various seafarers’ reception associations scattered on the coast, to ensure:

• Better reciprocal information between all the associations so as to exchange the initiatives taken, the obstacles encountered, the partners discovered, the solutions found in the face of the many problems posed by the reception of the seafarer.
• The most effective possible coordination of the actions taken in the face of problems such as those posed by abandoned crews on board ships seized in order to benefit there too from the experience acquired by each other.
• Representation and defense of associations before authorities with decision-making power regarding the problems encountered.
• The development of international cooperation with associations sharing the same goals.
